Not sure why a second, unprovoked note in that thread was needed, accusing me of “laying low” (wtf?) because of some 2 year old posts - after I was responding to another user’s three pointlessly rude messages, after starting out just trying to have a normal conversation in that thread.
Don’t do that! I’ve seen what happens. You get a little wooden sign that says “World Peace.”
This is obviously the correct wish.
Obviously, you can bring it up, but I wouldn’t expect much sympathy for your actions and treatment in that thread.

That was your second mod note for harassing the same poster over a period of about two years. Are you sure you want to make jokes about it? Implying that you don’t take that warning seriously is a bad idea.
No such implication intended. But it’s a mistake to call my replies in that thread “harassment”. If someone starts it by writing an unprovoked message like this and others, my responses were positively mild in comparison.

You’ve been modded on two separate occasions for that exact behavior. You have emphatically lost this argument. I don’t really care if you agree with the mods’ judgment of your behavior, but you’d best not repeat that behavior. That’s what I was trying to communicate to you in no uncertain terms.

Well, my reading of the tortuous length of these threads hasn’t been in vain. Thanks to all those posters who made reasonable and positive contributions! And thanks Marley and the other mods for letting in the clear cool light of reason. I feel a whole lot better about this place than I did yesterday.
If I’d posted it while you were erasing it, it would have been while you were decomposing, and we’ve had enough zombie threads recently.
Right, that’s the parody thread that resulted from this thread which was also closed. So now apparently TPTB wants separate threads for each complaint against the moderation here. It gets quite confusing and all these threads seem to be the result of some multiplying mod virus. Instead of suggesting more new threads, I would propose opening the two threads which were closed inappropriately.
But perhaps “they” have achieved their apparent purpose of dividing and conquering. Now we have to keep up with multiple overlapping threads - I think it’s not possible to have unique boundaries between a bunch of separate threads.
Has some final edict been proclaimed about the obvious fact of bullying being ignored? What about the random consequences of commenting in a non-Pit way on the same? The answers to those two things would be a good start.

First off, no your response wasn’t mild in comparison. Second, whatever hostility to your opinion was expressed in that thread, it still doesn’t give you permission to dig up topics from the past that you have been explicitly instructed to drop. Respond to the comments made, or pit his ass, but don’t do what you did do, which was continue harassing behaviors you were previously instructed to stop.
And joking about it in this thread doesn’t help your position at all. One might just interpret that as a backhanded way to slip in more of the same harassment.
