Hmmm. I’ve always imagined a profoundly utilitarian hat. Say, an orange construction worker’s hard hat with the word MOD spray painted on in large black letters from a poorly aligned stencil kit.

I’d like a black top hat – looks refined and sophisticated at first, but when someone gets out of line, the top flips open and a cartoon hand holding a cartoon mallet springs out and **POP** goes the offending git. 😃

I kind of picture a snap brim hat like Matt Drudge wears… except without the dork underneath it.
What the hell do you call a cat-in-the-hat hat? How the hell did it become counterculture? It didn’t happen for Where’s Waldo’s knit watch cap.

I always pictured it as a police officer’s hat. Dark blue, with the badge on the front.
Whistle optional. Truncheon strongly recommended for GD and the Pit.

The next person that becomes a Mod is out of luck. All the hats are taken. All that is left is the Mod cape (could work) the Mod left sock, and the Mod codpiece.

**Gaudere** could at one point be found online wearing her mod hat in a picture from some sort of chidope or a similar event.
**Chronos** actually did not have a mod hat. He put on his mod watch.

You know how in the prologue The Fellowship of the Ring Sauron’s mask is shown crashing to the floor after Isildur cuts the ring off (right when the voiceover says “Sauron, the dark lord of evil, was defeated”)? I always imagined that the mod hat looks like that.
