They’re hospital recliners. Of COURSE there’s Naugahyde! English as a third language perhaps? Please do not throw Drink coffee into machine This is a hand-written note taped to the coffee machine at the infusion center. Red sharpie on pink paper, no less. I understand what they’re trying to say, but trying to parse it sprained my cerebrum. The problem is that if you want to pour out some coffee, there’s not a sink nearby. Where is the blood? We’ve been here for two hours. Type and cross two units shouldn’t take so long. ---

Oh, and the “best” part of the decor here is the Caribbean-esque images done up to look like windows. I think they used large x-ray viewers as they all have that charming shimmer. If I can sneak a photo without getting any patients in view, I may post a pic later. ---

Man, I didn’t want to come to work today. I woke up at a nice early hour, like I usually do, but instead of snoozing and enjoying my nice warm bed, I fell asleep again and had a weird dream. And it’s cold at my desk. I know it’ll be nice outside, but the ac will start running. It’s not fair. I have NEVER had an office with a window and I’m ALWAYS cold. The last place I worked at a long time, every room was on the same system. The control was in my office, but if I turned it up so I would be comfortable, everyone else would get heat stroke because they had a wall of windows. I think I’m doing alright on Camp Nanowrimo. I haven’t typed up what I’ve written yet. ---

Almost done irk for the am. Then N.O.L. Then on to finish the mortgage app and collect all the documents. I shall try to not kill anybody today, it’s not even noon yet and already 3 people have plucked my nerves. ---

Today is officially my last day of being an unemployed layabout as I’m starting a new temp assignment on Monday. I spent it having a lie-in, watching telly and baking bread. I’m off to see my doting parent on Sunday and promised her a fresh(ish) loaf so I baked one today for her, I won’t have time tomorrow as I have errands and stuff to run. Monday I’ll be doing my new job so that will be good, it pays better than the last one which is good news for my bank balance. And on Monday night, I am off to a local venue to see [Danny Vaughn](http://www.dannyvaughn.com/seiten/index.htm) on his solo tour which I am really looking forward to. Other than that, it’s been a blurfy day over here at Fae Towers. ---

I been bruthing up downthtairs, and dow I can’t brede through by dose. _achoo_ We have a big scary glowing thing in the sky, and it’s making all the dust too obvious. Didn’t realise it was that messy in there though- we keep the living room door propped open almost all the time, and hung on the back there was a bag with… _things_… in it. I think they may once have been my housemate’s vegetables. Probably stuck back there when we had a mouse problem in the cupboard, then forgotten 'cos they were out of sight. Ick. ---

Everything went great at the OB. I am good to go, no bed rest. I don’t have to take the Procardia, and I can take a weekend trip to see my mom and grandpa. I want to go with the family because I don’t know when the next time will be to see them before the baby is born. It’s only a 3 hour drive. I am excited! I miss my mommy 🙂 ---
