The NTB may come out to a reasonable adult size now. ---

I think some April Fool’s Day jokes are amusing. I don’t like jokes at the expense of other people or pranks that hurt people. But for example, a few years ago Google had “drunk e-mailing” - if you tried to e-mail at, like 4 am, it would give you math problems to solve to make sure you were sober. Things like that are amusing. ---

Huh. I just got accepted to a show that’s pretty competitive. I didn’t expect that I would and so I am also doing one of my favorite shows that same day. Fortunately they are only about 15 minutes away from each other and the show hours vary. So, I should be able to appear at both shows for awhile and my parents can help too. I’m just really pleasantly surprised. ---

Pranks I’ve enjoyed (hearing about, as I was not involved): - brother and coworker constantly find ways to sneak a copies of a 2003 page-a-day calendar into each other’s stuff. Extra points if it turns up on a business trip. - Mom purchased a life size cardboard cut out of Fabio (this was a while ago) in a swimsuit which she would put in her coworker’s office, in the corner, where coworker could see it from the corner of her eye. One split-second of panic followed by “errrrr . . . ew?”. - FOAF spent the weekend wrapping every item in a coworker’s cubicle in aluminum foil. - Coworker “borrowed” another’s ergonomic keyboard and mouse. Made excellent copies of them on the new high end Xerox, cut those out, and put them in place of the actual items on the desk. Worked all the way up until the prankee tried to type his password. At a long ago job, I used to keep a menagerie of action figures and related items on my desk. Every now and then, I’d come in to find coalitions had formed, and battles were underway. Once, Princess Leia (Bespin outfit) and Captain America were getting it on on top of the miniature pool table. Another time, my Birthday Bear (care bear) vanished. I checked the other desks for it, and found it trussed up in rubber bands, dangling from a “web” made of linked paperclips, where a coworker’s plastic octopus had been placed like a spider. Kind of creepy that one. ---

There’s a new app that has a picture of something. when the alarm sounds, you have to go take a matching picture before it will stop. So, take the first picture of something that requires you to get dressed, put on shoes and go outside. That should get your day going. ---

Happy Halloween everyone! 😃 Was going to get up bright and early and have a busy day today, but horrendously overslept, and didn’t get out of bed til about 1. I blame the horrid grey weather. Out local supermarket doesn’t have any cheap easter chocolate- they must have cleared it all out yesterday, 'cos there was loads of choccy eggs left on firday… My sole pranking today has been hiding a copy of ‘Twilight’ under my housemate’s pillow. It’s not much of a joke, but it amuses me. Anyway, I’m off to have some Christmas cake. ---

The [Google home page](https://www.google.com) has a nicely done prank today. Last day of a four day weekend for me. **Cat Wife** was mildly peeved, wondering what’s so special about today that we get it off. I just shrugged and said ‘so it is written, so it shall be done’ Then dodged a pillow. ---

Howdy all, Lovely day here in Houston will get to the low 80’s today, that’s the high 20’s for you centigrade folks, yep it’s shorts weather. I shall work on the Motorcycle today, oil change, head bolt tightening and fiddle with the timing chain tensioner. I think a good long ride is in order as well.
