On 9/11/01 my immediate concern was local Dopers, but the rest were safe and Persephone, Tower One, took its hit as a suggestion to take the day off. ---

To buckle up because when the markets open at 9, [following indicators in other already open markets ( financial crash ONLY after 9am was a silly inclusion, to my mind!)], all of your money is now worthless. All of it! (If the country descends into chaos, I’m not exactly an alpha! I think I’m doomed. ) ---
