To add…I think that that serbian film is way more horrifying and disgusting. Because child rape happens, maybe, whereas four men locking up all of those girls and having their way with all of them, down to murdering each of them graphically and horrifically…well, it may happen on a smaller scale (one man + women/girls) but not to that scale. I dunno. Maybe it’s the difference between 1000 and 1,000,000 - our minds have a hard time envisioning the larger scale. ---

This thread sounds like a thinly veiled attempt to acquire a reading list without admitting that he’s tittilated by this sort of thing. It’s sort of like “porn is evil: can anybody recommend some websites?” ---

Right, I got that it’s a satire, it’s just that the satire failed completely to work for me. I actually thought the movie version did a much better job with the material than the Ellis book did. I love horror. I love Graham Masterson’s horror, specifically. He’s known for being very, very gory. I could barely make it through “[Eric the Pie](http://www.grahammasterton.co.uk/pdf/eric.pdf)” (link to a PDF of the story) without losing my lunch. _Ritual_ (also called _Feast_) is pretty disgusting too. ---
