I had a dream last night that I had not one, not two, but three brown grocery bags full enough of junk mail, magazines, and other assorted paper to be put out for recycling. ---

Most of my dreams are similarly as pointless. If I don’t tell someone what I was dreaming I will forget the dream within minutes of waking up. Last week I was dreaming about custominzing my old pick up truck which has never even crossed my mind that I can remember. I only use it for an occassional lumber pick up or trip to the dump but it may have stemmed from being a little embarassed when driving it which I have been doing more of the last couple weeks on my remodel project. ---

Once I had a dream, actually more of a nightmare, that I was a muffler on a 1957 Chevy. With all the noise, heat, fumes, and vibration, I could barely sleep. I awoke exhausted. ---

Yes, that’s more mundane and pointless than my dream Monday night. In which I dreamed I went to Knit Night and came home with 4 skeins of yarn–one sale yarn for a potential sweater, one premium laceweight, one bargain laceweight(because I bought the premium laceweight), and one so unremarkable as to be forgotten before I woke up. A couple of weeks ago, I had a dream where I went to the rehearsal dinner for a wedding which had just been canceled. ---

I once dreamed that Howard Stern died in a car crash. (I didn’t see the accident in the dream, just heard it on TV.) ---

I often dream that I’m dreaming. Sometimes I dream that I wake up, and sometimes I really wake up, so I have to think about whether I’m really awake. And sometimes, when I’m pondering about about whether I’m really awake, I’m still asleep. ---

The other day, I took a nap. No. A _nap._ Rare, coveted, blissful occasion. Hen’s teeth. Unicorn’s horn. The rarest, most coveted, most beautiful event in the Life of Mommy. I dreamt of changing diapers and doing laundry. When I awoke, I felt like I’d been robbed of those 45 minutes. ---

And did you then dream that you ran to your computer to check the Celebrity Death Pool thread to see if it had been reported? I had that dream once. Last night I dreamed I was riding my bike to visit my sister. I live in Ohio. She lives in Las Vegas. It was a long ride.
