I have the pleasure of owning one of these and It’s proved invaluable so far. Excellent for twisting 2 by 4’s in framing. And of course the huge hammer face. 🙂 ---

Amateurs - the lot of ya! 🙂 One of my prized possessions I affectionately call Big Bar. I inherited it from my dad. It was a drive shaft for something in a former life. It’s six feet long and even though it stays in the bed of my pickup, it never rusts. It still has the splines on one end. Someone, who was a very skilled blacksmith, forged the other end into a perfectly curved pry-bar tip. It has just the right amount of spring to it. Unlike most commercial pinch bars, it’s round and smooth (except for the splines) and easy on the hands. When I need to move something big, I reach for Big Bar. When I need to bust rocks in a fence post hole, I reach for Big Bar. When I need to pull up a broken fence post, I reach for Big Bar and a chain. When I had a blowout on the camper and my jack was too tall to fit under the frame rail, I reached for Big Bar. When I need to demolish something and a regular crow bar just ain’t getting it done, I reach for Big Bar. I love my Big Bar. ---

As a young woman living in an apartment I have no need for one. I may have to buy a house simply so I have an excuse to own one of these. ---
