Not only will I be acquiring one of these for myself, this has also provided the solution for all of my Christmas giving needs.

I wonder what my cat will destroy with his.
Maybe I’m spoiled by the fire service. A [Paratech bar](http://www.paratech-inc.com/#/Forcible%20Entry%20Tools/Crew/Hooligan/) called a Hooligan on their website lives in the back of my van. At 12#, it will move a whole lotta things. The long handle makes skootching easy. It usually elicits, “What the hell is that?” questions from customers. It just makes many jobs easier. I don’t want to work harder, just smarter. 🆒
Damn you, I wanted to mention the [Halligan](http://www.allhandsfire.com/page/AHF/PROD/FHU-PB30). The difference between that and the Hooligan is the removable ends on the Hooligan. Those suckers look almost exactly like a one-piece war hammer or [Bec-de-Corbin](http://www.thearma.org/photos/RealWeapons/jbpa1.jpg). You can get titanium versions that prevent sparks, really desirable if you’re working around gas mains.

Sorry. My preference for the Paratech over the one piece Halligan is the removable ends. I’ve learned that firefighters, particularly truckies, can break anything. The joke is that if you put a firefighter alone in a room with two iron cannonballs and check back in ten minutes, one cannonball will be broken, and the other will be missing. The FF will have no explanation. 🆒

[TNT Tools has these multi-purpose implements of demo](http://www.tnttoolsinc.com/thetnttools.html), but the idea of pulling a sharp edge back at me while using the pike end never seemed smart. Some folks love 'em.

‘Murder Weapon’ is what I call those little three-tong hand-rake things in the gardening department.

Don’t ask me about pruning shears. _shudder_

Last night I was running errands and on a whim I thought of these, I whipped into the mall at a few minutes of closing time.

Sears sells them. 🙂

I was a few dollars short of cash in hand.

2 weeks I’ll be over there again. (need drool smilely)

I’ve got one of the big FUBARs, I’ve had it for a year or two. I love it, but I need to find more stuff to use it on! Last I used it was working on my mower belts, nice for prying and leverage. I’m not gonna break it, that’s for sure.

My husband might have something to say about that. 😃 He thinks it’s cool that his wife has her own black-and-decker power drill (24V no less!) I like tools and working with them! 😉

It is indeed a wonderful name for a wonderful tool. I haven’t torn anything down in years, but i want to now.

Did anyone else notice the full product name as it was written on the site?

Stanley® FatMax® Xtreme™ FuBar®

I understand the desire to protect their products names, but my god… How long is it going to be until every damn word you read has one of those ® or ™ behind it? ☹
Amateurs - the lot of ya! 🙂

One of my prized possessions I affectionately call Big Bar. I inherited it from my dad. It was a drive shaft for something in a former life. It’s six feet long and even though it stays in the bed of my pickup, it never rusts. It still has the splines on one end. Someone, who was a very skilled blacksmith, forged the other end into a perfectly curved pry-bar tip. It has just the right amount of spring to it. Unlike most commercial pinch bars, it’s round and smooth (except for the splines) and easy on the hands.

When I need to move something big, I reach for Big Bar.

When I need to bust rocks in a fence post hole, I reach for Big Bar.

When I need to pull up a broken fence post, I reach for Big Bar and a chain.

When I had a blowout on the camper and my jack was too tall to fit under the frame rail, I reached for Big Bar.

When I need to demolish something and a regular crow bar just ain’t getting it done, I reach for Big Bar.

I love my Big Bar.
