It should be handled carefully due to a chemical toxicity threat not present with more vigorous corrosives (I.E., Destruction of tissue limits the dosage of stronger acids.), but there’s not much in the way of a “The Goggles! They do nothing!” danger. ---

You realize that they’re going _down_ at a good rate, right? It looks like they’re flying, but they’re actually falling at an angle. I don’t know the glide ratio, but it’s pretty steep. Yes, dangerous. But I wouldn’ feel at all threatened watching. And I guess that’s what mean by “scary”. You feel uneasy, or threatened, by being there. That’s how it is at a pickup game. Back in the day at a drag race people stood along the strip, no more that 20-30 feet away. Believe me, you were in danger. Which is why they stopped it and moved spectators back. ---
