C’mon, somebody steer this puppy back into modern times (no, I’m not suggesting Eddie Arnold was in _Modern Times_, although I suppose he could have been), or at least to some years after I was born. ---

So we watched the credits and it shows Garry is played by “Leaf Phoenix”. I’m assuming that was Joaquin’s name when he was a pup. BTW, despite having Steve Martin and a family sounding name, this is not a film to watch with your six and eight year old in the room. I’m just saying. ---

I’m just saying. I so agree with you ShibbOleth. It is definitely not a children’s movie. But then again parenthood, in general isn’t for kids or the weak of stomach too. LOL. But it has such a great cast. I really like _Rick Moranis_ in it. ---
