The movie theater never took my ticket, problem?

Coincidentally, I just came across the following information from John Fithian, the president of NATO, the National Association of Theater Owners:

My credit card bill online doesn’t have the charge from the movie on it yet, but it doesn’t have our meal afterwards yet, so I’m 99.9% sure that the theater got its money and since the seating system is computerized, I’m sure they know how many people got in to a particular theater.

But I must confess, my friend and I sneaked in Mentos and a Milky Way…
