Glad you liked 'em! Now I feel like some explanations are in order. **2000 Flushes Blue PLUS Detergents** : It works so well! Except that my non-too-dainty cats drink out of the toilet every time I forget to put the lid down, so I can’t use it anymore. **Louise Cooper’s The Initiate and The Master** : They are suggestive, aren’t they? It’s all fantasy schlock (though I really liked her Indigo series)-- I wasn’t joking about the ellipses. I think the record is 7 on one page. Happy reading! **A pair of shoes** : Yeah. I have no defense about the shoes. Complete impulse buy that I regretted the next day, when I’d thrown away the receipt. Sigh. **Koosh** : Used to have the place of honor atop my monitor at work. He was displaced by my model of Mothra, though. Be good to him. **Music** : So that’s where that Holiday Mix went! Forgot that was in there. It was a free thing from [maxstudio.com](http://maxstudio.com), where I buy clothes every so often. Heh heh. _Pure Party_ is another promotional deal. The others have just fallen out of fashion with me. 🙂 **Inflatable neck pillow** : Bought at JFK on my way to Europe for the first time! And it doesn’t work for shit! As you might have guessed, the rest was merely stuff I had laying around and didn’t want anymore. Aren’t you lucky! ---

I’m kinda wondering if **Zappo** got the bonus goodies I sent his way… I can’t find the receipt from the post office to verify delivery - that’s what I get for cleaning out my purse. May I be so bold as to suggest that this round be the last for a few months? I don’t have the strength to clean anything else to gather up more elephants… 😃 ---

This afternoon turned out to be a clear, warm and sunny so, rather than sit around in my apartment, as I have for the last four days, I went out to the pool and read\* in the sun. Returning to my apartment, in need of some water and a touch-up on the no-feel’um-tonsil medication, I noticed that the mail had come. A strange smell lingered in the air, my recently doctored body not-quite able to pick up the scent, I continued, unassuming, to my mailbox. I should have seen the signs, I should have been more alert, but science had addled my senses and I missed them. Opening the metal box, the tiny elephant virtually leapt from it’s holding cell to my outstretched hands. As I originally tagged and tracked the elephantine population, I knew this was not my special pachyderm. Yes, amid the bills and detritus was an envelope holding an oddly shaped item. No amount of fiddling with it would have aided my investigation. Reading the included note only made me more wary. With a turn of phrase like “…simply the dumbest gift ever,” I was left with nothing but the tissue-wrapped item. **delphica** , your _Series 4_, **25 Traditional Beer Mats _from the pubs of Britain_** will find many a beverage placed upon them, I assure you. I’m glad you liked your crap, Briminator. I would have included more but I couldn’t find a larger box (by the way, the weird stain in the bottom of the box was hair bleach. don’t panic.). Aww thanks **TroubleAgain** I didn’t know I was going to feel this excited, but feel like a kid a Christmas hee hee Ok here’s what I got, A furry yellow ball with a smilie face, 10 USA stamps, A blue velvet pouch with some scrabble letters inside, Two velcro thingies, A plastic thingy that makes a funny rrrr sound, A small plastic keyring rucksack, A Micky Mouse notebook, (that’s starting college with me) Two postcards that are also puzzles, A christmas bauble, Some rubbery things (pink, yellow and green), A shell that looks like it may have been an earing? A little bottle which I think had the little cute stones in it, but it was broken, Some American lollipops (man my kids love you **TroubleAgain** ) **Lots** of tissue paper And my personal favourite, a small globe on a wooden stand which will take pride of place on my desk. Round three here I come! ---

Well, I was feeling sad because I hadn’t gotten my elephant yet, when I got home from work today and found a package in my mailbox. Thank you, **Diane** for the following: · A cute Halloween candle holder with a ghost coming out of a jack o’lantern · A car air freshener. But this is no ordinary air freshener. This is a spinning jobbie that has a smiling flower wearing sunglasses. · A giant pine cone · An issue of the “Salt Lake City Weekly Newspaper”, dated September 20 · Two jars of Utah Creamed Honey. One is Gourmet Cinnamon, the other is Gourmet Raspberry. While both appear to already have been opened, I’d still like to taste them. Can you assure me that I will not be poisoned? I eagerly await your answer. · A funky, freaky, topiary-looking cat with wings and red, glowing eyes. I love this little guy and will take him to work with me tomorrow. · A coffee mug in the shape of a muscular man’s chest, back, butt crack, and ummmm….flaccid penis. Gee, I never thought _that_ phrase would come out of my mouth here on the boards – leave it to Diane to drag it out of me! · And finally, a “Kickin’ With Country Workout” tape with Denise Austin.
