That’s right, I got my CD price fixing class action suit settlement check in the mail. A whole $13.86. I can scarcely contain myself. It bought lunch today, and will again tomorrow. Wow, I feel such a rush of justice. Never again will I have to pay an inflated price for a CD. …right? ---

What I want to know is, why the hell did these class action lawyers go for this lousy settlement, instead of pressuring for the prices on CDs to drop? Who do I sue over that? Its totally void of any justice whatsoever. This tiny check won’t even buy me another new (overpriced) CD. Where’s the justice in lawyers collecting millions, a few thousand people collecting less than $14 apiece, and CDs, **which the record company basically admits to overpricing** stay the same price? WTF??? ---

Dang! I got my check a week or two ago, forgot about it, and now it’s, uh, “somewhere in my apartment.” I’ll have to get a shovel and clean off the coffee table to find it. Anyway, thanks for reminding me.
