The Music Man (Warning: SPOILERS)

Oh yeah! Well I actually had a part in a PROFESSIONAL production of “Guys and Dolls”. As listed in the official program:

Number Six . . . .“Even when the heat is on, it’s never too hot”

This is quite clearly the deepest and most challenging role in musical theater.

[sub]You see, when the character you play has no name and only one line, sometimes that’s how you’re identified in the program.[/sub]

But…“He doesn’t know the territory!”

The letterbox version was just on last night. IMHO, the ONLY version worth watching or taping.
There is so much you miss with the “full” TV screen version.
IN the LB version, in the 76 trombones scene (1st time) during the out-of-this-world dance numbers, you see the tiniest of girls dancing her heart out on the far right. She must have been heartbroken all the years when it would come on TV and she would be gone. (sniff) IF she’s still around, tell her I saw her last night and she was great.

Mayor: “Not another poop out of you, woman!”
Mayor’s wife: “I think he means’peep’.”
