# The name " Hagop"

Is it common among Christians and Muslims ? I have seen " Hagop" used in Greece and Turkey and hence this question.

It’s the Armenian form of the name Jacob. Thus one may find it common among Armenian-Americans, those of Armenian descent in Greece, Turkey etc.
