Has there ever been a situation in history when the freaking _majority_ was rounded up and put into camps? I’d wouldn’t lose too much sleep over this possibility **vanilla**. ---

A lot of christians believe christians will be presecuted after the rapture; they will then be in the minority for sure. ---

Halloween is soon upon us, and old Jack has made a [Halloween special](http://www.chick.com/seasonal/halloween/), complete with [suggestions for which tracts you should give to the children](http://www.chick.com/seasonal/halloween/tractsuggestions.asp). How thoughtful… There’s even a [new tract](http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/1053/1053_01.asp), starring little Susy and Buffy (not the vampire slayer, she is afraid of Dracula). She does not know who Jesus is, and Lil’ Susy tells her how Halloween is **The Devil’s Night!!!** 🙂 ---

I don’t want prayer in schools, to any god or in any way. I don’t want “under god” in the pledge of allegiance any more than I want “under goddess” or “under allah”. I find the entire idea totally preposterous. In fact, that entire comic strip was totally preposterous. I can’t help but think that anyone who actually belives this stuff is mentally retarded. ---

[/quote] The return of Jesus was, according to the NT authors, supposed to happen in the lifetime of the Apostles. Needless to say, it didn’t happen. For the last 2,000 years, kooks and crackpots have been predicting the imminent end of the world and the Second Coming. Still didn’t happen. It’s not going to happen. Ever. You are not going to cheat death by getting snatched up to heaven. There may or may not be an afterlife, but you have to die to experience it, like everyone else. And “everyone you know” is not a statistcally valid sample to judge the prevalence of your brand of eschatology. ---
