I cannot believe that a replacement bridge would have been built so quickly here. I realise that there was an unusual level of political will behind the project, but it’s impressive nonetheless. ---

We’ll be going over it Monday. TheKid doesn’t want to, she’d rather take backroads from DT Minneapolis over to the U. It does look pretty though. ---

It looked pretty cool from the top of the Guthrie the other night, too. The blue sculptury-thing at the end is lit up at night. I think it is supposed to be the river, but that is probably too easy. ---

I went over it twice tonight. It was kind of anti-climactic. It’s a bridge. It’s nice to have that route open again, though.
