Based on the response to yesterday’s thread, not many people care anymore. But I’m determined to finish this puppy up. Fox’s new fall schedule is a little complicated. Due to various half season show like “24” and “American Idol”, we have two schedules. Be prepared to complain about “Arrested Development”. Anyway, here the schedule they’ll lead off with in the fall: Monday 8:00 - 8:30 Arrested Development 8:30 - 9:00 Kitchen Confidential (new show) 9:00 - 10:00 Prison Break Teusday 8:00 - 9:00 Bones (new show) 9:00 - 10:00 House Wednesday 8:00 - 8:30 That 70’s Show 8:30 - 9:00 Stacked 9:00 - 10:00 Head Cases (new show) Thursday 8:00 - 9:00 The O. C. 9:00 - 10:00 Reunion (new show) Friday 8:00 - 8:30 The Bernie Mac Show 8:30 - 9:00 Malcolm in the Middle 9:00 - 10:00 The Gate (new show) Saturday 8:00 - 8:30 and 8:30 - 9:00 Cops 9:00 - 10:00 America’s Most Wanted 11:00 - 12:00 Mad TV Sunday 7:00 - 7:30 Animated Encores (basically reruns) 7:30 - 8:00 King of the Hill 8:00 - 8:30 The Simpsons 8:30 - 9:00 The War at Home (new show) 9:00 - 9:30 Family Guy 9:30 - 10:00 American Dad Then beginning in January, things break down like this: Monday 8:00 - 9:00 House 9:00 - 10:00 24 Teusday 8:00 - 9:00 American Idol 9:00 - 10:00 Bones Wednesday 8:00 - 8:30 That 70’s Show 8:30 - 9:00 Stacked 9:00 - 9:30 American Idol 9:30 - 10:00 The Loop (new show) Thursday, Friday and Saturday remain the same as above. I’ll make time for Arrested Development no matter what night it’s on. And I’m strangely interested in Kitchen Confidential, just because it’s based (probably loosely based) on one of my favorite books, a brutally honest behind-the-scenes look at the restaurant business by professional chef and raconteur Anthony Bourdain. It’s a fascinating book, and probably required reading for anyone interested in food or cooking, or anyone who eats at restaurants. I’m just amused that they’re getting a sitcom out of it (unless they go for an edgier single-camera sort of sitcom like AD, Scrubs, or The Office). ---

So, um… what happens to Arrested Development in January? They have ordered a full season. ---

I don’t really know. I’m assuming we get a “non-stop” season of 22 episodes early on, much like we get a full season of “24” later on. But I also assume things will change as crap shows get cancelled. I further assume that Fox will make horrible decisions, move things around and generally piss people off.
