I’m not sure what she does. Someone told me she was in marketing, but when I spoke to her in the snack room and discretely asked about her education, she didn’t mention any university. I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing, but I just wonder what she does. Whatever it is, the boss loves her for it. They often have lunch together. 🙂 She _can_ use a computer, but I don’t know what she would be doing on one. She’s often on the phone. I wonder who she’s talking to??! This is a law firm. I know what everyone around me does, and what they have experience in. Except for this girl. She has one singular obvious talent - hot pants. Hot pants and a smoking hot body to go along with them. _Smoking_ hot - better than any model from any magazine you care to mention. If she went to university she probably majored in wearing hot pants, and minored in midriff tops. I bet she made deans list. :dubious: ---

I understand if my post makes me look like a Misogynist. I wish I could take pictures, then you might understand, but I’m not going to get caught taking pictures. Who the hell wears hot pants to work?? Oh wait, I know who - hookers. Its not just me talking about it either, its become a sort of underground joke in the office. ---

Yes, Japan, not the USA. A private firm too, so the boss can pretty much do whatever the hell he likes, and often does. I know he likes strip clubs - he took me to one in my first week on the job. I guess I have figured it out. I just can’t really believe it yet. I guess it makes financial sense too - much cheaper to have her on a salary. Hmm. Life is strange. ---

(Don’t say “are you a(n) \_\_\_\_\_” because she could actually be a badly dressed senior attorney) ---

Phones are rather easy, _someone_ can text you at an appropriate moment, you take a pic while ostensibly checking… Public = legal, unless there is some other oddness happening. You are simply documenting your workplace. No crotch shots, please… ---

All the phones in Japan have a very loud fake shutter noise when you take a photo. Hard to discretely take a shot like that. Sorry, I don’t have another camera with me today, and today is probably the best photo op - she doesn’t always wear hot pants. Let me describe today’s outfit. Short shorts that from behind actually show the lower curve of her butt, white high heels, midriff t-shirt and some kind of suit jacket, hair is in a perm wave and piled up high. Her toenails are lipstick red and she has a chain around one ankle. Am I obsessed? Probably, but more out of shock than anything else. ---

I think she would say she’s in marketing, if I asked her. I’ve been told that’s what her role ostensibly is. ---

I know several people in Spain who used to work in Public Relations and decided on a career change when they got fed up with people thinking their work titles were euphemistic. Sounds like the lady’s job title may indeed be euphemistic, in your case. ---
