**rosie** , Soitenly! Janis’ Nommy Potato-cheese-beer soup 6-8 large potatoes, cut into chunks 2-3 stalks celery, chopped 1 large onion, diced 2 1/2 C sharp cheddar cheese 1 bottle beer milk 4 T margarine or butter salt & pepper to taste Melt butter in bottom of large pot & saute onions & celery till soft add potatoes & fill up pot halfway with water stir in beer & add enough milk to pot to cover potatoes, then salt & pepper. simmer until potatoes are soft. remove from heat & stir in cheese. Allow to cool & serve. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 40 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 59. It’s supposed to be 30 Amurrkin out tonight. Well, BRRRRR!!! I hope this is Winter’s last big deal. I want it to go away. Tonight is Stations of The Cross followed by fish ‘n chips over to the church house. Thus da bear shall be cookin’ up fish 'n chips along with the usual suspects who line up to do this. We shall have fried catfish filets (fillets? The word never looks right to me.), chips (French fries), coleslaw and I’m told hushpuppies. Should be good. **flytrap** … **IF YOU TAKE YOUR LUNCH TO IRK YOU’LL SAVE THREE BUCKS!!!** Subtle enough for ya? 😛 **BBBobbio** better you than me dealin’ with a mammoth shoppin’ trip. **{{{Wiki}}}!!!** Forgot to do that yestiddy. \*\*\*TGIF!!! \*\*\*It’s been a heckuva week… \*\*BBBobbio \*\*- you’re gonna be putting a few miles on the VunderMobile this weekend - dang! Can’t you convince her to confine her shopping to Leonardtown? 😛 Our weekend plans include a run to Lowe’s for fencing supplies - not fighting fencing but yard-encircling fencing. The kids who cleared our hills are going to replace the wire mesh fence between our yard and the neighbor’s in an effort to keep Higgs from going thru the big openings and taunting their dog. Being the wuss she is, if the lab looks in her general direction, she bolts back, but still, I don’t like her leaving our yard. So we’ve got to buy 150’ of fencing and a bunch of 2X4s and some cement. We’re also (I hope) going to start clearing the accumulated leaves from around the house, since plant life is starting to emerge. I’ve got daffodils and amaryllis poking up, and I think a few day lilies might also be putting out green. So we’re going to rake and vac/mulch for a few hours to give the gardens a fighting chance. But first, I have to get thru today - many many drawings to be fixed. So quit distracting me and send chocolate - I’ll need the energy. Happy Firday!!! ---

Its official. The cats are now openly trying to kill me. First with the tripping me straight out of the shower and now, they are trying to murder me as I go down the stairs and make it look like an accident. I have on a long broomstick skirt. I was decending the stairs to go to irk. My maine coon decided my skirt was a “thing to be killed” as it swished enticingly down the steps and nearly caused me to take a nose dive. I luffs him but really fluffy slippers are looking nice, its either or a mop. Maybe the mop… ---
