I wouldn’t be surprised if the HSUS found out that the ASPCA was making a bunch of money from their ads and just copied them… Even if I didn’t have to mute that ad and not look at it because it’s the HSUS, I’d still do it because there is one face on there that just makes me want to go hug my kitty! ☹ ---

Just assumed from the original description that they were the ASPCA ads I’ve been seeing - I think Bravo is one of the networks that carries them. ---

Those ones with no one in the family wanting to use their rollover minutes. Most of them are just dumb and not worth hate, but the one where the guy’s throwing the minutes to the dog, and the shrill bitch of a wife yells his name and it comes out “DO-ON!” Look lady, Don doesn’t have two syllables! ---

I was just reminded tonight of the Virgin Mobile ad where the woman in the locker room sets her cellphone down…AND HER WHOLE MOUTH COMES OFF and keeps talking into the phone! AAAAAAHHHHHH! My god! There is no creepier television commercial currently running! ---

What about the ATT&T U-Verse commercial with the “Happy Pony.” The parents and kids are pointing remotes at each other like a gun. Where did they get all those remotes? Then the grandma comes in and says can someone help her find something and then she says nevermind and leaves. She knows their story. ---

I encountered a new one tonight during TAR… That Michelin ad with the CGI still-alive roadkill, struggling to reach the shoulder of the road with their midriffs permanently tire-marked. Gah! I mean, I know they’re not real animals or anything, but that’s really way too morbid for me. ---
