The new Jack in the Box commercial just slays me. It has Jack talking to a woman and Jack is trying to pronounce the word ‘Chipotle’. He just mangles it numerous times. Just hearing the ad cracks me up. Jack in the Box has the coolest commercials but this one is the best. Anyone like this commercial? Slee ---

**Stoid** , I love Jacks face, it is all tangled up. At the same time the way Jack mangles it just kills me (Chipoolty, chiplity, chipulttay) Then after Jack gives up he tries to say goodbye in Spanish and he mangles that as well. The Mom and the son in the ad are obviously pissed off that Jack cannot pronunce the words correctly. Ah, it is a great ad. **Mandduck** , I don’t remember that one. I love that! The red line for his mouth just goes in all these tangles and he just barrels right on through… I love that commercial. Cracks me up everytime. 🙂 ---

So, um … how do you pronounce _chipotle_? And does this new commercial mean an end to the Jared in the subway, home of the Voppers, Wendy’s series? I’ve been waiting for him to go to Ronnie MacDonald’s or some such. ---

He did go to Ronald McDonald’s house. I think that might have been the first in the series. And for the love of PETE! Jack in the Box is not like White Castle AT ALL. Kind of like Carl’s Jr (in terms of their menu offerings, sort of). And if you don’t have Carl’s, you might know them as Hardee’s. But full size burgers. Not the little mini Whities. ---

I like to try new burgers so I went in and bought one before I had seen any ads. Having read some history books the Mexia I assumed it was pronounced (CHIP + BOTTLE - B) and I still like that better then (CHEEK - K + P + OAT + LAY). They’re only OK. My favorite ad of his was his poor mother bemoaning his birth and using it to get him to do stuff for her. JITB commercials are one of the few things I miss from California. (Yep, it was that desperate for me.) Of course, the all-time classic ad for me was “Hey LT! Boitano! Check it out, a _dollar_!” ---

I must admit I really got a kick out of the ad that ended “ **WITHOUT THE BUN YOUR HANDS WOULD GET COVERED WITH MEAT AND CHEESE!** ” Unfortunately they re-edited it after about a week and killed its great comic timing. ---
