The IDF is targeting innocent civilians. It’s not a fucking scandal when it’s discussed in the newspaper.
It’s a fucking tragedy that it’s happening.
As a Jew, I completely agree with this post. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization. Since October of last year, they have launched over 7000 rockets into Israel. After somehow destroying Hezbollah’s cell phone network, Israel made a targetted attack that involved exploding pagers. While there was some collateral damage, almost every one wounded or killed by the exploding pagers was a member of Hezbollah.I wasn’t happy that some innocents were hurt or killed. But, overall I thought the devastating effect on Hezbollah and the precision involved were wonderful.
I am disgusted and horrified that the IDF is deliberately targetting childen.
I was talking to an Israeli Jew, not someone in the army but a woman on the street as it were, and the reaction was that videos and photos of children shot &c must be forgeries because she had confidence that “the IDF wouldn’t do that”. I recall that an Israeli poster on this board, who has actually served in the IDF and is therefore familiar with it— or, more precisely, how some unit of it used to be way back whenever— stated much the same thing.
