I think I might be flammable. I ate four pieces of pizza loaded down with pepperoni and jalapenos at lunch. ACBG says if I belch at work one whole side of town will go up in flames. How many mainframe programmers does it take to screw in a light bulb? None. Thatā€™s a hardware problem! How many Windows developers does it take to screw in a light bulb? None. Darkness is an undocumented feature. How many helpdesk agents does it take to screw in a light bulb? I understand you are sitting in the dark? **ana** , Boo is adorable. I want him. So cute. Back from shopping. I have: 1 new dress 2 new little eyelet skirts (with pockets! Pockets!) 1 pair of maternity jeans I have pants! Pants I can wear! Itā€™s so exciting! Theyā€™re super comfy. I might keep wearing maternity jeans forever- the nice, stretchy lycra panel waistband is so forgiving and wonderful. It doesnā€™t cut it, and it doesnā€™t pull down awkwardly in the back. ---

I survived another day at work, barely. I had to go to a training session at noon, and I know I dozed off - either that or Al added some slides before he posted the presentation, because I swear I donā€™t recall seing 6 or 7 of them. Iā€™ve got a steak marinating for supper, and Iā€™m trying to decide if I want to play in clay today or not. Itā€™s not the claying that is making the decision difficult - itā€™s the clean-up. I suppose I could start decorating the one monster. Maybe Iā€™ll do that later. Daughterā€™s best friend since kindergarten finally passed her running test - sheā€™s in Navy boot camp and she was dangerously close to being booted out because she messed up her knee or her foot and she wasnā€™t able to complete the run in time. But sheā€™s done it, so she can finish boot camp and go on to whatever other training and duties await her. So YAY CASEY!!! Iā€™m giving serious thought to bugging out at noon tomorrow. Except I think I have a meeting in the afternoon. I know I have to write a status report which will say ā€œI attended 2 meetings but I didnā€™t do anything on this project.ā€ Mostly because I havenā€™t been assigned anything specific for this project. I intend to ask tomorrow. Hope I stay awake. **rosie** , your pic wouldnā€™t load for me. Iā€™m starting to worry about my computer - this week itā€™s been wonky about loading certain sites. It better not die - Iā€™ll cry!!! ---

Yay for comfy pants! Iā€™m taking the afternoon off, which is seeming awfully short, what with wanting to nap and all. Apparently Iā€™m tired. Me, I like the walrus oneā€“or is that a seal? **MBG** -a thousand curses on your house. I couldnā€™t sleep. I was all wound up about the kidsā€™ plane being delayed and would I have to go to Midway to go get them (if the flight were canceled). But I did finish my project. Guess what? The\*&^%%#%^& instructors have not opened a link (portal?) for us to upload our projects. I hate this classā€¦So, I posted a question as to where we could send these projects and if itā€™s not in by this weekendā€“too bad. Am almost all packed. Was going to go see Hairspray again, but too much to do. Feel very antsy and tense. Need body massage. Need sleep. Do NOT need my Dad sending me directions (I had asked what the highway number was, just as a refresher)\* that take me all the way from the airport to the garage door \*(yes, he included driving up the driveway. No, he was not being cute or funny). Do I really want to go? Work at 0530. But I have found outā€“itā€™s not 0530. Itā€™s 0520. Aughā€¦ HEY! go wake up **gt**! ---

Itā€™s always something, isnā€™t it? My kid just called to tell me thereā€™s a hold on her records over a $400-something debt from summer school. She doesnā€™t know what itā€™s about, so I suggested she mosey herself over to the school tomorrow and ask. Iā€™ll send the money if she owes it, but I donā€™t just send money for giggles. Damned higher education! šŸ˜› Dinner was yummerrific - chuck steak and boiled **N.O.T.** and broccoli and gravy with onions and mushrooms. Happy tummies abound. Ice cream later. Life is good. It would be better if I didnā€™t hafta go to work tomorrow. Oh well. ---

I found a three-panel louvered door for $10! Of course now I have to strip it and sand it and repaint it, but I can do all of that. Iā€™m very excited; itā€™s going to make a great jewelry display! I just have to decide if I want to paint it white or blackā€¦ ---
