It’s obviously a typo. Not nearly as annoying as tacking an apostrophe to anything with an “s” at the end. For instance - apostrophe mayhem in this paragraph, along with other goodies: Teh car’s were crossing the road’s on Route 4. They came along some big tree’s, and all the driver’s thought theyd stop for a bit. “Ill just stop here for a while.” one driver said, "Its been a long drive, and theres a lake over there with some duck’s in it. Teh other’s thought theyd stop and look at the lake and the duck’s to. I could go on, but the anal-retentive part of me cannot bear any more. ---

OK, I admit it, I have no idea what half of the letter combinations on this thing stand for, but I will say that I know my reason for spelling “the” wrong is sheer laziness for using the backspace key. ::hangs head low:: ---

Daniel, you are an idiot. DNFTT is a netwide acronym; it is in no way exclusive to the SDMB. You gotta get out of the wolves’ den more often. It seems a bit insular in there. As for the OP, there are several words that I consistently misspell when typing. Since I obviously know better, I can’t explain it. I guess my typing mittens need to be re-trained. ---

Bite me, dog boy. There’s nothing that says I have to be fair in my assessment of your character or intellect. And just for your fucking information, you ain’t the only clod I’ve called an idiot since I’ve become a moderator. Additionally, I’ve held this opinion since shortly after you registered, which is a couple months before I was appointed to this position. You will also note, this is not my forum; my posts in here carry no more weight than yours, so put a sock in it. I don’t know when I will lose my newbie status but I can comment that I don’t always spell check everything I type. Catch me at three am and the last thing I will be concerned with is a few typos. I always have trouble typing poeple… people. Fingers always seem to get it backwards. So sue me. Teh end. ---

You know back to the op. The occasional use of teh is ok. But, there is one poster in particular who has posted about 20 times who has not once used the. **THAT** really annoys the shite out of me. ---

Okay, as long as we’re doing apparent typos and misspellings, what’s up with people continually using “rascist?” Is this some hip new combination of “racist” and “fascist?” Is it an alternate spelling from across the pond? What gives? ---
