If anything the problem is choosing from the plethora available to us. Every side has its idiot fringe to be sure. Thing is the conservative idiot “fringe” is not fringe at all but front and center. Senator Grassley backed the notion of “death panels”. I forget the name of the female senator who speechified on the Senate floor about “death panels”. Sarah Palin wrote about it citing Rep. Michele Bachmann as her source. Limbaugh, Beck, Coulter, Malkin, Hannity, O’Reilly (to name a few and all of which are front and center) have too many absurd comments to count. We could have a pit thread near daily on all of them with the near complete lack of any coherent logic or supportable opinions they spew. The Town Hell meetings are peppered with the spawn of the folks above and they have even less a grasp on the issues than those above do (which is saying something). As a result you see the incoherent ramblings of this guy who made himself newsworthy and agreed to be interviewed. Hardly cherry picking the lone nutter in a sea of informed dissent. It is a veritable ocean of nutters. ---

I actually feel sorry for that guy. He’s a victim of Faux News, Limbaugh, et. al. who are using people like him by intentionally frightening and confusing them. ---

I’m not really suprised at people like this. A guy like Rush Limbaugh preaches rubbish daily to his not-so-bright of society audience, works them into a tizzy, then releases them out in public where they attempt to regurgitate his bullshit. Regurgitated bullshit makes less sense than original bullshit. It’s almost laughable if it wasn’t so pathetic. It’s reminiscent of Jerry Springer’s producers working his guests into a tizzy offstage then pushing them out on stage to make fools of themselves. ---
