The obscure and eclectic at Disneyland

I don’t feel like literally searching for it, but I believe that this was an April Fool’s Joke, or some kind of “in jest” suggestion.

The Orleans cafe, next door has many of the same food items (including the amazing but made for two people Monte Cristo sandwich,) and is a little cheaper. Get the Pommes Frites and the Mickey Beinets.

Do* Great Moments with Mr Lincoln. *

Do Pin Trading.

Bring some new pennies make a wish in Sleeping Beauty’s well. Give some pennies to parents of kids who didnt bring coins.

The Fried Chicken is cafeteria style @ the Plaza Inn, and is the best food value in the park. You get three huge pieces of excellent chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy and a biscuit- those last two being meh. All for like $15.
YogSothoth: not chimichanga , Churro.

There’s some issues with the License for Twilight Zone, I hear.

Why not both?

Bumping because I drive down to LA tomorrow and visit the MK on Sunday.

Since I imagine it’ll probably be a decade before I go back, am contemplating maybe doing a one-day Park hopper just to do a few things at CA (which I’ve visited twice before). Anything cool and obscure (or awesome and new) there?

Have a great time! And keep an eye out for anything obscure or eclectic, so you can tell us about it!

DCA:
There’s a new Frozen show in DCA that’s supposed to be pretty spectacular. Broadway quality. You would need to get there early to get a Fastpass. They go fast.

The Animation building is often overlooked there. Some fun things going on in there.

On Buena Vista Street, look for characters dressed for the period doing a kind of improv.

Have a drink at the Cove Bar. Or at the Carthay Lounge. They make the best Manhattans (with a diamond or spherical ice cube…pretty cool).

This.

They are in Disney World as well. We got there every year and I’m getting a little bored by it. So we’ve livened things up in between attractions by hunting for Mickeys.

So…how was the trip?

Last time we went, we did the “3-day hopper” thing. The third day, I was drinking Tequila (they don’t check those water bottles too close), and found it to be the most fun and best of the vacation.

Didn’t mind the tired feet, heat, lines or pretty much anything.

I’m not ashamed. Or proud, for that matter.

I have seen drunk people having fun at the parks. However, they often ruin the fun for everyone else.
