But people adjust the page length for different reasons, like how often do I want to have to load a new page. Look, the posts are numbered. Why not just refer to post number instead of page? Because, even in Tapatalk, which skips ignored posts, you still get a general idea of where to start. Whereas, if you give a page number, then it can be wildly unhelpful. ---

Anybody remember **[Nolies](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/member.php)**? The biblical literalist who took on [Evolution and science](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=304354) in this thread? Talk about fixed delusional beliefs . . . And now I must confess I’m the one who introduced him to the board. Our paths crossed in real life briefly when he was doing some contract work in my office, and when he asked me if I knew of a good place online to discuss science and evolution and theology, I steered him to SDMB. NOT knowing of his particular obsessions. Hoo boy. Fortunately he had no desire to outstay his 30 day free membership. This was back in the day of pay to post. His free pass ended, his contract work ended, and away he went. ---

I swear I went through every menu on this app to remove the signature and set the page length. And I couldn’t find any way to do the latter. And now there it is. Thanks for the help. But I still think their use interface sucks. ---
