Sorry I don’t remember any names, but one day there was a mild debate about nothing too interesting between Mr. A and Mr. B, both of whom had about 60-80 total prior posts in their histories. At some point, Mr. A said something that made no sense coming from him, but would have been just like Mr. B to say. After a dozen or so more points and counterpoints, Mr. C entered to suggest A and B were in fact just one poster arguing with himself, who had goofed and tried to bury his mistake under an avalanche of follow-ups (so far, so normal, right?). But now Mr. D, with over 3000 lifetime posts under his belt, arrived to agree with Mr. C approximately thus: “you know, I think you’re right! I bet that’s JUST what happened!”. Whereupon Mr. E (an admin) announced that Messrs. A, B, and D had all just been banned. The thread then quickly petered out. ---

I don’t think she’s been mentioned yet, but years ago, we had a poster named **Claudia VonL** , who defended the telemarketing industry, and who was famously taken down by **Cervaise** in this thread: > **[The Telemarketer Speaks. Melin was pretty odd. Legion was fun with the Marianas Trench. Cesario was a prick as our nicks were so similar (it was suggested I use a tag “Not the kiddy Diddler”) ---

Can anyone find the guy who claimed he came up with “Supercalifragiliciousexpialidotious” based on a random assortment of letter blocks? It was in response to one of Cecil’s columns. Pretty damn odd… ---
