Feeling the sleeping world roll beneath my tires on some long stretch of highway. Walking through snow at 4am The clattering sound the T makes. The feeling when a project passes the critical point, after which it’s just documentation and clean up. ---

Mostly feminine or parent oriented, but oh well - The natural smell of a baby’s skin. Scratching your legs after removing itchy nylons Back and foot rubs given without having to ask The smell of early summer flowers while moving along a tree canopied road (walking biking, cycling, convertible) Climbing into a bed with fresh clean sheets after just taking a shower Hearing your child laugh with abandon, especially if you instigated it Feeling the deep boom of fireworks resonate in your chest Staying cuddled under the covers on a brisk crisp morning Anyone who has nursed – feeding your 4-6 month old baby at your breast and gazing into each other’s eyes. The feeling of a baby quietly drifting off to sleep in your arms Sleeping with someone in the spoon position. The wonderful release of a good tickle fight. ---

Being called by my given name by my hubby. The smell of freshly mown grass. The smell in the air after a late afternoon summer rain. Baking pumpkin pies on a crisp autumn day. Hubby massaging my feet. Hearing my grandson exclaim “ **My** Grandma!” as he hugs me up _soooo_ tight. ---

Sitting on the back porch sipping an ice cold beer after mowing. Washing myself off with the hose after mowing then jumping in the pool. Grilling burgers, dogs, chicken, steaks, etc. I love to grill. Lying in bed with a certain someone in the dark when he puts his arms around me Sheets and towels fresh out of the dryer Biting my tongue to keep from busting out laughing when I’m dopin’ at work ---

The little ‘o’ jockeymutt’s mouth makes when he sings along with me. The corn chip smell of jockeymutt’s feet. The curtains blowing in on a slightly warm summers day. The sound, smell, and breadth of the ocean. The sound of my camera shutter clicking. Mrs. Jockey’s signature perfume (paloma) Waking up in a tent (which I haven’t done in too many years) ---
