I really liked Dwight in this episode, which is a nice change. Just like we need to see Michael as competent sometimes to highlight his totally lunacy the rest of the time, we need to see Dwight as capable of human emotions and team play to make the rest of his insanity even funnier by contrast. Does it bother anyone else the way Pam walks on Jim sometimes? The way she corrects him when he tries to make a joke to the camera sometimes makes her seem a little petty and controlling. Emphasis on a little, but I still don’t like it. ---

I agree that Dwight was good in this one. I also liked when Dwight was talking to Phyllis about her concerns about her husband cheating on her. He also seemed to get more sensitive at that point. ---

If it’s not OK for her to date Michael, it shouldn’t be OK for her to date anyone in the office, because then she’s not impartial. Not necessarily Rashida Jones, and they didn’t do any long shots or even ones in focus, but they put a blue shirt on some woman who looks enough like her to say, “Karen is here.” This is as much a P&R question as it is an Office question, but my kids (Wife was obviously out) were helping me decide if it’s her eyes, lips, or dimples that cut through my heart like a knife. Kids think it’s eyes and dimples. I think it might even be the way she brushes her greasy bangs out of her eyes. And the dimples. ---

No Prob! Starts in the parking lot with everyone from Scranton ariving. Meredith asks Stanley how He’s doing as Stanley’s walking with Terri Hudson, (his wife). Stanley, (uninthusiasticly): “Same as I was yesturday, just now I’m outside.” The Camera than pans to Meredith walking to the grounds with a young man , maybe 13 or 14 years old. Kid: “This party sucks Meredith.” Meredith: “Call me mom” Kid: “Who cares Meredith?” Meredith, (mad): In the car. NOW! --ALL DAY!" Kid: “Again?” Meredith: “Look Jake! --unbelievable!” Michael on the picnic grounds talking about “working hard to get play hard”, and he thinks people work all year, just to have one out-door day with their family. He says he usually brings a guy from his condo complex, but that this year he just wants to catch up with old friends: Michael: Like Dan Gore --And --Holly will be here. We exchanged E-Mails. --And that Guy from Akron…" Volleyball Game’s going on with Utica, as Andy is about to serve, he points to the place left open by the other team. Everyone on the other team scurries to cover that area… Andy’s just looks annoyed. Cut to Dwight same game. Dwight: COME ON GUYS, let’s stay focused. Eye of the tiger, ok? We can do this. Remember; ‘Bump-set-spike’, Keep your hands in triangle position " Jim: “Triangle position?” Dwight: “JIM, Come on; Your hands are not ready. What happens if the ball comes to you right now?” Jim: “Well, Actually my hands work completely on their own… without my ever knowing it–” (Slaps Dwight in face) Jim: “Sorry.” Dwight: “Ah-HA HA! Class Cut-up. FAIL!” (Cut to back to the match) The other team has to give the ball back to Scranton. Andy: “(getting musical): Send that ball back, a-ri-di-di, Don’t mess with Scran-ton – Utica, more like U-sucks-ti-ka. Who-Sucks-ti-ka? U-Sucks-ti-ka!” (Dwight joinging in on the taunting) Andy & Dwight: “Who-Sucks-ti-ka? U-Sucks-ti-ka!” Jim walks over and grabs both by the arms in a painful way. pulling them back, while looking at the other team; Jim: Sorry. Cut to Creed talking to Stanley Creed: “Our friends seem happy about something” Stanley, (sitting in a lawn chair next to him, with said-drink in hand): “Mm-hm -can you please stay in my shade?” Creed adjusts where he’s standing to cast his shadow over Stanley. Stanley: Move up just a little bit more… Mmm that’s good. Whew! That took me forever, I started right after you replied… that’s how bad I am! It was a long clip and was trying to keep it authentic, and as blemish free as my post’s can get.
