> [@acsenray](#): > > I just found out that Jenna Fischer and her husband split up a year ago. Normally, I don’t pay attention to celebrity personal lives, but for some reason, this news has rocked me. I guess I associate Fischer so closely with Pam Beesly that now I can’t shake the thought that she’s going to end up dumping Jim once she reaches a degree of professional satisfaction. I hate celeb gossip too, but: She would also go gay for Kate Winslet. Looks like Fischer “found her own Karen”. > **[Jenna Fischer: "I Would Go Gay for Kate Winslet"](https://www.eonline.com/news/1538/jenna_fischer_i_would_go_gay_kate)** > > Fun facts you never knew about the Office star ---

> [@](#): > > There are people in the world who have a job, not a career There was an episode, possibly in the first season, where Jim says: > [@Jim (paraphrased)](#): > > I’m not looking to get promoted. Right now, it’s a job; if I got promoted, then it would be a career. …with the implication (or possibly outright stated, I don’t recall) that he definitely did not want a career at D-M.
