> That’s not what happened. As soon as Erin mentioned something about months or years until they got physical, Ryan instantly bailed out with Kelly as his excuse.

That was my take as well. He was probably always planning to use his relationship with Kelly as an excuse to end the brief fling he was hoping to have with Erin, but when it became clear that Erin wasn’t going to be putting out anytime soon he decided to bail.

Stanley had the line of the night, paraphrasing:

Careful, Jim. It gets easier every time.

> He was pretty weaselly with Roy when Roy and Pam were dating, I thought.

I think this could be explained by the fact that Jim was afraid Roy would tear his head off if he tried anything.

Another funny episode. This Florida trip has provided some laughs.

Another time I think Jim has been shown to be timid about of confrontation is in the season when Charles is in charge. Charles asked him to get some sort of report Jim was afraid to ask anything about it. So, he spent the whole episode asking everyone else. And, finally when he did do it, he just faxed it to his dad.

Charles [is] in charge? Was that on purpose on your part? Now I’m gonna have the theme song in my head all night.
