In real life we know, at the very least, Michael would lose his job immediately over his actions here. What else would he realistically be charged with? Would kidnapping really be on the table? As far as I can tell, apart from Dwights laughable attempt to scare him which the kid saw straight through, nobody actually threatened him or restrained him. Attempted theft of $32? I’m guessing somewhere in between. ---

That means there will be 20 normal airings, and five hourlongs. They’ll probably have a break around December when everything goes into reruns, but with that many episodes they don’t have all that much time to take breaks between now and May. ---

That doesn’t even count what he makes from DVD sales and syndication, not to mention the odd movie or HBO special here and there. His personal wealth is well into nine figures. The “four million dollars” remark was an allusion to the “30 Rock” episode in which Seinfeld threatened to buy NBC and Alec Baldwin asked him if he just had $4 million lying around. Seinfeld probably has that in the seat cusions of his car. ---

When they showed Kelly dumping random items into the shopping cart to hear the pretty noises, I was hoping that the programmer had formatted the website sales to read what items were being loaded into the shopping cart and not waited until the sale was final. And then when she x’d out of the website without completing the sale, the website sales would have plummeted and Ryan’s joy would have been pre-empted. I hated the pizza guy kidnapping story, I hated that Phyllis is being a stone cold bitch (we already have one) and I even hate Pam and Jim’s romance. I hate the one hour format!!
