The races in Virginia and NC are getting to the point that Romney looks like he could win them both, so he’s still alive. Florida is headed for a recount, and Ohio’s provisional ballots could take weeks to count. ---

Just heard that 40% of Wake County NC’s vote hasn’t been counted yet (they haven’t counted the early votes), and that could make a difference. Wake was one of the few counties that voted against the anti-marriage-equality amendment in May, so I could see it going from pink to blue. It would sure be cool to know my little old early vote made a difference in flipping us to Obama, but I’m not holding my breath. ---

Yeah…I switched to Fox for entertainment value now that it looks good for the Dems. They just made a really big deal about REPUBLICANS TO RETAIN CONTROL OF THE HOUSE, like it was actually a possibility in play, nary a word about the Blue Team keeping the Senate. The newscasters look really grim in Foxland, and one of the blonde ambition Republican puppets ( I didn’t catch her name ) seemed to be holding back tears. I hope I will soon be making a call to my conservative uncles. ---

Still, there was a LOT of early voting at NC State, so there’s hope. I’m so glad the presidential and Senate races are looking so hopeful now, since the state races are absolutely abysmal. The only bright spot is it looks like nutjob Goldman is going to lose. ---
