I don’t know how many times I’ve listened to the _Lola_ album, but still, every time I hear the airplane sound and then the hard-strummed opening chords of “This Time Tomorrow,” I feel a swell of emotion. Every. Fricken. Time. That’s genius.

I also am a proud owner of _Give The People What they Want_. Bought it for _Destroyer_.

I saw them live back in the 80’s - great show. About three songs in Ray pulls out an acoustic and plays the opening chords to _Lola_. The crowd goes nuts. Ray stops, looks out, says “naaaa - you’re not ready for that one yet” and goes into another song.

IMHO the version on _Live—The Road_ is better.
