EMERGENCY!!! The Dave-Guy-Mobile died last week, and we can’t get it into the shop until next Tuesday! We are borrowing one of my parents’ cars for necessary things like getting my wife to work and buying groceries, but it just isn’t right for me to take it to go swanning off to Joisey to eat food and drink beer. Help help help. **Gorgon Heap** , can you swing by _Casa Dave-Guy_ and give me a ride to and from? Otherwise, I’ll be a wallflower that night. I have to work that day, and was only intending to go to dinner, BTW. Can anyone from the Rockland/Bergen area see their way clear to picking me up for dinner? I’m a good date…I’ll go Dutch Treat… ---

No kidding? You thought I was a boy? Was it my brilliant analyses in the baseball threads? (j/k) I assumed you were a male, but the name “dantheman” kinda gives it away. And just in case you are laboring under the impression that I’m thin like a string bean, I’m not. (Several people have expressed surprise about this based on my username.) Well, if the Gorgon (Medusa) is female, I assumed a heap of Gorgons would be female. Unless your name doesn’t actually reference that Gorgon, or that type of Gorgon. (Gosh, we’re all learning so much about each other today. How 'bout a group hug?) At least I didn’t call you Gordon. ---
