Zoiks! Is anyone going to make it for the hike?? Right now, it looks like Bill and I are the only definites, and with my bum pelvis, I’ve actually been kind of dreading it. We could easily call off the hike part of the day if nobody wants to do it. ---

I was planning on showing for the hike, but I’m concerned about the weather, or to be more accurate, I’m concerned about being rained on. It was going to be an excuse to show off my new motorcycle and such. ---

Okay, no more annoying whining. I’m up for it. And besides, when I got home from work today, my wife cheerfully informed me that I had given her my cold. So…not only do I not have a cold anymore (having given it to my wife), going out to dinner sounds better than hanging around with a sick wife. I’ll email ya tomorra. ---

Well, due to underwhelming demand… **The picnic and hike portion of the day is cancelled**. ☹ Apologies to anyone who was actually planning to go. You made me have a helluva good time. What a treat to see everyone again, and to meet **MsRobyn**. You guys are the best. Special thanks to **Gorgon Heap** and **Acryllic Vessel** for the ride to and from. Without you two, I would have had to stay home, so I appreciate it so very, very much. **Green Bean** , this was a superb idea; thanks for putting it all together. And thanks for bringing that Party Animal Extraordinaire[sup]TM[/sup], King Arthur. He’s grown a lot since August! Thanks again for a great evening, everyone. ---

I’m now conscious enough to post. I had a GREAT time last night. It was a lot of fun meeting all y’all, and the trip to Jersey was worth it. I am now twisting Airman’s arm to go to NY this January. My efforts aren’t meeting with much resistance. 😉 Robin ---
