_Place:_ Casa Dave-Guy. Please let me know if you need directions, and from whence you are coming. I am easily accessible from the NYThruway, the Palisades Interstate Parkway, the NJTurnpike, the Garden State Parkway, and the buses from PABT and the GWBridge.
_Cost per Adult:_ Five bucks.
If you have folding chairs or lawn chairs, you might want to bring them. Also, maybe another grill. I’ll supply the charcoal.
Playground facilities close by for wee ones (and the young at heart).

We’re still awaiting confirmation that **SueDuhnym** ’s offer of a ride for **Cosmopolitan** still stands. Hope so.
Also, please get your checks or money orders to me ASAP. Sorry, PayPal isn’t an option. I don’t want to harp on this, but we’ve already laid out some dough over the past months to get some of the dry goods, and I have yet to buy the sauce ingredients, pay for the ribs, and arrange for the mountain of ice we’re gonna need. Those of you who have already paid, thanks much.
**Meros** , that’s a rotten shame. We’ll miss you. As far as money, not necessary. You don’t come, you don’t pay. It’s before the cutoff date, so while your presence will be lacking, your financial support is not required.

Some people still have not committed to a side dish. While this is okay, it would be nice to have a well-rounded selection for the pot luck. It looks like desserts and bread are pretty much taken care of. Anyone interested in bringing a green salad or two? We have the standard variety of dressings, so don’t worry about that.
Soft drinks are also taken care of. We have numerous sodas, as well as lemonade and iced tea for the teetotals and underage.

Dave - the check is in the mail (I love saying that; I’ve been told the three great lies are, “I love you,” “the check is in the mail,” and “I’m from the government and I’m here to help you”) for me and the missus. She’s still a ‘maybe’, but at this late date I figured it was time to cough up the dough, just in case. And she’s equivalently a maybe for Sunday brunch.
I’ll try to bring some folding chairs along.

Keep the funds coming, folks, I’m quintupling the recipe and the price of onions and brown sugar has skyrocketed!
In the “Good News/Bad News” category, I found out today that my wonderful co-worker Danyne and her husband Mark won’t be able to attend. Conflict with another family celebration, it seems. That’s the bad news. The good news is that she said she’d make homemade corn bread muffins anyway, and give them to me the Friday before.
She’s such a sweetie!
(And, **RT** , I always thought the two biggest lies ever were “The check is in your mouth” and “I promise I won’t come in the mail.” :D)

**Zap** , now that **Meros** is out, do you think it would be possible to get us back to South Jersey before **Verrain’s** birthday celebrations there? (By 1 or 2?) If not, we’ll have to back out of the Sunday Brunch thing and ask to be dropped at a nearby train station (preferrably one that’s running) the night before. Or maybe I’ll just put a leg out and hope to get picked up by someone going in the right direction. 😉

My car is full now, as I have the AirmanRobyn clan going out and back with me, together with Booga and his paraphenalia. I dunno if we can squeeze youses in, as the tailgunner seat can’t be used (we have to keep his stuff back there, and it doesn’t latch anyhow), but maybe we can line you a ride with somebody else?
