It’s like the end of a bad action movie where the villain blames all of his failures on the henchman who carried out his orders. Usually that ends with the henchman kicking the villain in the groin and walking out of his lair, but I don’t think we’ll see that this time.

I’d love to see Ham Rove fight Jack’o’Lantern Trump.

It’s just one tweet, but read it and feel the wonderful entitled bitterness:

Trump really flipped his wig Tuesday night and did a lot of over-the-top whining/trolling on Twitter. [Apparently he somehow managed to embarrass himself because he deleted some of the tweets later.](http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2012/11/trump-is-election-nights-most-unhinged-goper.html)

Interesting stuff on the electoral map:

The most Republican state, unsurprisingly, was Utah: 72.7% for Mitt. Other than that special case, it was Wyoming: 69.7% Mitt.

Most Democratic state (suprisingly to me at least) was Vermont: 67.1% Obama. The District of Columbia was a whopping 91.4% Obama.

I was bemused when I saw my ballot yesterday; for my Congressional representative I had a choice between a Democrat (and probably the most liberal one in Congress), and the Peace & Freedom Party candidate. I realize that I may not live in an area that’s entirely representative of the US as a whole. 🙂

Impossible.

Donald Trump embarrassing himself, not making and deleting stupid tweets.

I thought Victoria Jackson was the one who took the award for the most unhinged tweets though.

More than Hawaii? Democratic stronghold forever and Obama’s home state? Wow.

Funny thing that occurred to me: I read that New Jersey can still vote until Friday, and by e-mail. What if enough votes came in, by hook or by crook, between now and then to actually turn the state to Romney?

Then I saw that Obama’s ahead by over 500,000 and that little bubble broke. Ah well. 🙂

Here’s a serious question: of the states called for one candidate or the other right now, which is the most likely to have its call proven incorrect? How many are there for which such a scenario is even likely? Not many, I wager, and certainly not enough to change the current outcome, but just curious.

Well there’s that name: Socialist. I’m sorry, but for a lot of Americans, especially the uninformed ones, campaigning as a Socialist is a lot like campaigning for the Rapist Party or the Pedophile Party. Not a matter of issues, but the name Socialist just isn’t gonna fly in the US anytime soon. The Peace and Prosperity Party works a lot better.

I like you Leaps. I’ve been watching you throughout this election season. I gotta tell you…I’ve been a bit worried about you. I wanted to comfort you sometimes and say, “It’s all gonna work out…don’t worry” but I couldn’t do that. I was worried myself.

The time has come though. I can finally reach out to you and say, [relax](http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-camfVharsxI/TyLoRBDECKI/AAAAAAAAATc/xrAzc9128N8/s1600/ok.jpg). It’s all over now. Romney can’t get you. Go ahead and relax into the ample bosom of a Romney free future.

Judging by some folks, you’d think the socialists got 50% of the vote last night. 😉

In a very minor point (at least for me, I live in Washington state), Colleen Lachowicz (D) won the Maine State Senate District 25 election. This is the woman whose opponent attempted to “smear” her by outing her as an Orc Assassin on World of Warcraft.

If I were Senate and House Republicans, I’d just sign on to whatever piece of legislation Obama wants to pass. If that’s what the people want, let them have it. It does no good blocking them, as they’ll just be labeled “obstructionists”. So pass them and whatever happens, happens. If they end up turning the country around, great! If they cause damage to the country then maybe, just maybe, it’ll cause people to rethink their loyalty to the Democratic party.

I offer you my sympathies.

\*\*Leaper \*\*was right to doubt. Hawaii came in at 70.6% for Obama. I’m sure Vermont is having an existential crisis about that, and wondering whether it too should move to the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
