Okay, Mrs. Dave-Guy has asked me what the tentative count is at this point. She wants to get an early start on purchasing the plates, flatware, napkins, etc.
So I need an **official** preliminary count. If you haven’t answered in this thread, you’re not being counted! Even if you responded to the preliminary thread.
So far we have:

Count me in as a maybe and most likely a yes (Depends on the pay schedule). If any Philadopers are interested and require a ride I could be persuaded to pile them in as well. 🙂

Me and **Tark** and our three little heathens are very very probables. It’s after Little League ends, and our chances of getting through more than two games in the playoffs are abysmal. Also, it’s less than eight hours away, so that works in its favor, yahooie!

Prompted by **Billdo’s** admonishment in another thread, I’ll weigh in with a definite maybe. 😉 It will depend on whether or not I need to be away for work, and I won’t know that for a while yet.
Provided I can make it, I have no problem making a quick hop into Manhattan to pick up 3 more (4 might be possible, but it would be a real squeeze in my Corolla). Return trip guaranteed. Call dibs on your seat now, avoid the rush!

Okay, here’s how we’re looking so far:
**Day and Time:** Saturday, June 26, at about noonish, at beautiful _Casa Dave-Guy_, we will chow down on ribs, beer, assorted soft drinks, and sundry side dishes (provided pot-luck style by our guests)
**Cost:** Subject to change, but I’m thinking ten bucks per adult person. Kids eat free, and there’s plenty of free parking, though.

There is also going to be a brunch on Sunday, June 27, for those who are interested and/or staying overnight (which accommodations are up to youse guys to finagle).
I will need to know what the “definites” are bringing, so we don’t wind up with 78 pounds of potato salad and no veggies and dip.
And as the date draws near, I’ll be emailing directions to my place, along with my home and cell numbers.

If it’s a fold-up chair it can’t be hugely bulky. I’m sure we could fit it in somehow, even if it means tying down the trunk lid. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. 🙂

Due to some hounding, here is my official reply: Yes. Myself the wife and possibly the kid will be there, and maybe one or two others if I can talk them into it.

I don’t have time right now to post a full update and keep the ball rolling entirely, but it’s on my to-do list for the long weekend, as we’re approaching the home stretch.
To that end, let me say I need firm commitments (and notification of what side-dish you’ll be bringing) by June 6. At that point, I’ll email everyone with directions, my address, phone numbers, etc. If you can pay in advance, that would be most appreciated (I already received a check from **Gorgon Heap** ).
Also, anyone with kids, will they be eating ribs, or should I provide hamburgers and hot dogs grilled on the Trusty Weber? In any case, kids eat free.

I personally will probably not eat ribs. My kid sure will, though.
