Hmmm…can’t think of anything, **GH**.
I made a double batch of sauce last night (it tastes better after it’s been sitting in the fridge for a couple weeks), and I won’t buy the ribs themselves until the day or so before. I have plenty of charcoal and wood chunks, so that’s no problem, and I’m going out tonight to buy a few more rib racks to accommodate all that succulent meat. That should take care of things on my end.
Thanks for the offer, but aside from keeping me entertained until the 26[sup]th[/sup], I can’t think of anything.

I have to shut the door on the guest list, since we’re only two weeks away. If you’re not a “definite” by tomorrow morning, you’re not there.
So far, we have:
**Day and Time:** Saturday, June 26, at about noonish, at beautiful Casa Dave-Guy, we will chow down on ribs, beer, assorted soft drinks, and sundry side dishes (provided pot-luck style by our guests)
**Cost:** Ten bucks per adult person. Kids eat free, and there’s plenty of free parking, though.
**Definites:**
The Weird Gingers of Northern Maryland – green salad
Biggirl, Houseman, and kid(s) – beer
Morgyn – fruit
Frank #2
RTFirefly (and possibly Mrs. Teasdale)
Little Nemo – homemade ice cream
FriendBill and HelenWheels (paid) – Bill’s famous macaroni salad
Danyne and Mark (my friend from work) – potato salad
ElJimbo (my daughter’s boyfriend)
TellMeI’mNotCrazy – spring rolls or ambrosia (I like ambrosia, but don’t let that influence you; I like spring rolls, too)
Sunfish (paid) – fruit salad
Meros – breadage
Hamadryad, Tark, and various small heathens – cookies
Gorgon Heap and Acryllic Vessel (paid) – devilled aigs and Jell-O shots
Juniper200 – pasta salad
Cosmo
Zyada and RJK – breadage

**Definitely Nots:**
SueDuhnym (drat the luck!)

Also, don’t forget the brunch the following day, for those overnighters. Bagels, cream cheese, juice and coffee. Probably other stuff, too, who knows? If it’s like it was last year, people will just hang out all day and chill. That works for me.

That was the sound of the guest list closing.
I heard from **Cosmo** yesterday, and she’s willing to bring veggies and dip, so the only side dishes we need to know about are **RTFirefly** and **Frank#2**. Just hop into the thread and let me know. It doesn’t have to be a real big deal, either, you can stop by the store and get a couple bags of Doritos if that’s what you feel like bringing. I just like to know these things.
Also, I have listed the people from whom I’ve received the $10 per adult attending. It would help me greatly to have as much of the money before-hand, but if you have to wait until the 26th, I’m pretty much okay with it.
Also also, I will be emailing all attendees directions to my house, from north, from NYC, and from the Joisey Toinpike.

I think it’s great that everyone’s eager to help you pay for your party.
However, it did strike me that people are sensitive about money issues on the board. Or so past history has shown. Maybe you could keep the “Thanks for paying” vs “you haven’t yet paid” information in the emails, on an individual basis, since you’re sending them out anyway.

Great idea Dave. I’ll stop at a store and pick up various pre-packaged, crunchy consumables in a variety of shapes, colors, and textures. (i.e. chips, pretzels, & doritos) As for the $10, I’ll mail it tomorrow.

Thanks, Frank. Up till now we didn’t have any empty calories on the menu (some folks would count beer as empty calories, but I prefer to think of it as liquid bread). A variety of munchies is always a good idea.
