Sah-son is home, school is done, pizza (Dominos) is ordered because it’s always pizza for him, unless it’s Taco Bell. I finally got the laundry in, I’ve only put that off for two days. The kitchen is clean, the dog is fed. I still have to clean out his ear. That is always fun! ---

Twice-baked N.O.T.s are made up. I’ve got six in the freezer and the rest for supper tonight, along with some cod and I’m thinking broccoli. Daughter is on her way, \*\*FCD \*\*is up from his nap, and Higgs is gnawing on her pig - it’s her favorite toy. It’s hot outside and cool in here. All in all, a pretty good day. ---

All is in order for surgery. The insurance company agreed to cover the procedure and following hopsickle stay. I shocked the hell out of Spineydoc when I asked him about his bone blender invention. 😃 ---

Grillin’ some poke chops for dindin. Sides will be N.O.T. in a white sauce and butterbeans. I may even make some baby cornbread muffins cause I’m all sweet like that there. **gotti** butter cookies with adult finger sized holes. BRILLIANT! 😃 Hope you didn’t have to wait too long at the spineydoc today. Yay for insurance coverage! ---

Howdy, I am glad to see that most have been productive in my kinda absence ::taps foot, impatiently with arms crossed:: **Apelet** 😃 I have been dog and house sitting, well shop/house sitting, and it has been hawt hawt hawt. So glad to be home and in the cavelet’s AC. One of the dogs Annabelle is terrified of me and spent the past few days at least 6 feet away from me. Her parents get home this afternoon and she is all “scritch my ears, rub on me, I am going to stare at me till you pet me…”. Weird. I get that I look suspicious to her, big goatee, motorcycle, helmet and body armor but she has known me for almost two years. Could, just possibility be my fault She is a red brown short haired mutt, say 70lb/30kg ish with greyhoundy legs and kinda looks mean, barks mean and a total wuss. One of the first times I met her, I drove over on the bike and was still suited up. She came around the corner, saw me and froze. I started to breathe like Darth Vader and said, in my best impression “I am your Father Annabelle” Everyone had a big laugh even the other dog Chloe thought it was hilarious. Everyone except Annabelle that is. That might be the problem, just might be. Anyhoo I will be back Cheers all and hugs, high fives, yeahs, boos etc as needed **Jim** ---

In reference to the OP: Im a Canadian, and I’ve never heard of this weekend being the “unofficial start of summer.” But maybe because we still have snow on the ground in late May. Well, okay, that’s a wee bit of an exaggeration. 🙂 There hasn’t been snow here for a while, but I have indeed seen it snow in May before. ---
