Thanks for all the good wishes šŸ™‚ I was kind of in a self-imposed funk the last few months, not knowing which way the wind was blowing, but things are slowly but surely moving; at least now I know which direction we are going. šŸ˜ƒ BTW, since this is the start of summer MMP, let me pass along a tanning-not-burning secret to yā€™all. My 100 percent Irish, red headed burns-at-the-drop-of-a-hat mom was working at a ski resort in Vermont, back in the day, and some good soul turned her on to a formula she has used ever since, with such success that she was mistaken for being Amerindian herself a few times, lol. Salad dressing. No, not mayo, but oil and apple cider vinegar, just without the seasonings( unless you want spots, lol). She was cursed with severe psoriasis at birth, and having a good tan always kept that at bay. The vinegar keeps from burning, plus it seems to really accelerate a tan: Iā€™ve used it myself many, many times, and last week I darkened considerably within 20 minutes, this even though Iā€™ve been in the California sun for the last few years. šŸ†’ Anyway, just be sure you shower after, unless you like your pets treating you as a mobile licking post all day. šŸ˜› ---

Haha, Aprilā€¦ so coolā€¦ gestating. šŸ™‚ Itā€™s another start to a beautiful night in the gulf of mexico. I did my couple hours in the gym after waking up and now Iā€™m sitting on my bum. What will I do today to entertain myself through my 12 hour shift? Only time will tell! ---

Itā€™s already 73Ā°, but weā€™re promised t-storms this afternoon and into tonight as a cold front comes thru. Much of the coming week is supposed to be nice and cooler. We should finish the deck for sure, but Iā€™m not sure about the pergola/clothes lines - we shall see. Meanwhile, Iā€™m staying inside and doing laundry, and perhaps making some stuffed cabbage. \*\*FCD \*\*is going out with his biker friends this morning. I got all excited the other day - our bathroom scale needs a battery, and it had died, so \*\*FCD \*\*got a new one. We replaced it (in the kitchen) and I tested it - and it showed Iā€™d lost 10#!! I was amazed! Then I took the scale to the bathroom and tried it again - I immediately gained it back. šŸ˜› Apparently thereā€™s about 10# of flex in the kitchen floor. Dammit. And for the record, Iā€™m tired of being a walking buffet for mosquitoes! That is all. Happy Sunday! ---

Happy Sunday! Itā€™s 75 degrees outside with a projected high of 85. An ex co-worker called me at 3am, I guess she doesnā€™t know I donā€™t work nights anymore. \*\*FCD \*\*has headed out, Iā€™ve run a load in the dishwasher, and Iā€™ve got the first load of jeans in the washer. Front lawn is getting a drink, only because the newest hydrangea is droopy. With luck, an overnight rain will give everything a drink. Oh yeah, and Iā€™m dressed - sorta. Shorts, t-shirt, and flipflops - if I need to venture forth, Iā€™ll don proper footwear, 'cause Iā€™m all classy like that. Our gas can is almost empty, so I may take that to WaWa for a fill. Yep, another exciting day at FairyChatEstates! šŸ˜ƒ ---

Good Morninā€™ Yā€™all! Up, caffienated and brekkied. Also all purtified for deheathenization. Go Me! I shall be deheathenatinā€™ alone this morninā€™ as a certain _somebody_ is feelinā€™ the ill after effects of too much imbibinā€™ of adult beerverages yestiddy. Heā€™s gone back to bed after eatinā€™ a ham 'n cheese omelette I so thoughtfully prepared. Today is brunch Sunday. I am takinā€™ some sweet and unsweet tea and corn sallit. I actually had a request to bring the corn sallit. So, two easy-peasey things to bring. OYKW will be left to forage for sustenance at noontide. Serves him right. šŸ˜ƒ ā€˜Tis 74 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 92 for the day. I shanā€™t be hanginā€™ by the pool however as I got enough sun yestiddy and donā€™t really need to be out in it again. Besides, hopefully weā€™ll get some rain later this afternoon and into th eveninā€™ and mayhaps tomorrow. Happy Sunday Yā€™all! ---

Last load is in the dryer. You can tell \*\*FCD \*\*has been doing manual labor - I bet there were 2 dozen of his tshirts in the wash! Rice is steamed and cooling. Once laundry is done, Iā€™ll sautĆ© some chopped onion, wilt the cabbage leaves, and start building. Weā€™ll have some for supper tonight and the rest will go in the freezer. Then Iā€™ll get to do dishes again - woohoo!! :rolleyes: ---
