I am at irk, I was a bit late today due to having to drop the car off to be fixed this morning. Now I’m waiting for the garage to tell me it’s ready so I can go and pay the stonkingly large bill that’s sure to come with it. Irk is irksome, tomorrow’s senior exam invigilator has decided to be ill so now I need to find a replacement. I can’t do the job myself because I’m already babysitting the departmental exam so it’s going to be a nervous afternoon trying to find a replacement. Tonight it’s pub night and I have a feeling I’ll be in need of a restorative drink by then! **Taters** , sorry to hear about the furlough, but you know this is the place to come and rant about it. There’s always beer and cookies, and **Mooooom** may even overlook it if you forget to use a coaster. **mmmmms** , I’d be mad too. My ex used to do things like that, hence one of the reasons he became an ex very quickly. I hope you have a good flight though, and pack your wellies because if yesterday and today are anything to go by, you’ll be needing them! ---

Blurf. I pedaled ass to irk today. I’ve even had my 😃 moment of the day this morning. I was headed to the shed to get out my bike, and as I reached the corner of the house, this little rabbit came round the bend. He/she/it saw me, did a lepine :eek:, and went back the way he came. I was still snickering halfway to the orifice. ---

Good morning, campers!! We had a t-boomer toad-soaker last night - brief and intense and all the cushions on my deck furniture got soaked. But we needed the rain and I don’t need to water this morning, so yay! 😃 I was mean and made \*\*FCD \*\*get up with the dog, but he’s gone back to bed for a bit, so I’ve got some “me” time. 😃 I was going to work in the yard today, but heat aside, I’ve decided to avoid heavy physical work for the rest of the week. My back is almost normal again and I don’t want to mess that up. I’ve got laundry to deal with, plus the chicken broth in the fridge that needs to be strained and the carcass needs to be picked, plus there are a few baked N.O.T. that need to become twice-baked. And the bed in the guest room needs to be re-sheeted - just miscellaneous chores like that to deal with. I may do a little weeding, but no heavy digging and stuff. I also need to buy some doggy kibbles and wet food, which is a good excuse to get my car out of the garage and drive it a bit. We should get a call in a couple of hours that the inlaws are safely in FL. They arrive in Deland about 9 and they’ve got a 2-ish hour drive home from there. Happy Wednesday!!! ---

I am in active labor. The contractions haven’t let up for a day and a half now. I went to L and D yesterday and they checked me. Still not more than 1Cm dilated but the contractions are consistently every 3-5 min. They sent me home on ambien. I slept until 2am (about 3hours) then got up from contractions. Then went back to sleep from 3-7. I am now getting the twins ready and off to daycare and then to my OB. I am hoping I am more dilated than I was yesterday or I may cry. I am in so much pain and so uncomfortable. ---

Good morning again. We are almost to port 😃 EmilyG, sorry life is taking a huge steamy dump all over you ☹ Swanpybear, we often get grocery deliveries at least once or twice each 28 day hitch we do… Not sure there’s a boat big enough to store enough tp to last 50 guys nearly a month haha! ---
