Let me give you a similar but more accurate analogy.
A group of passengers is waiting in the boarding area for the pilots to show up. Two pilots walk up at the same time. One is a female. She says "I’ve never been a pilot before, but I’ve worked in most areas of airline management and have spent a great deal of time in the cockpit. The other pilot is a male. He says "I’ve never been a pilot before either but I’ve got a lot of strong opinions about flying. And by the way, that women over there is a crook and I guarantee I’ll be the best pilot ever. Most of the passengers pick the woman, but a small group says we have been waiting longest and we pick the loud mouthed guy. So the male pilot wins.
Now, if I was a passenger, I wouldn’t get on that plane.

Seriously, what we have here is a perfect example: the belief of this Republican that because his guy won the election, there should be no criticism of how his guy handles the job. Poor guy can’t deal with the fact that people’s judgment about Trump wasn’t permanently suspended on the night of November 8, and that people keep looking at what his guy’s actually doing in office.

When a scumbag like Clothahump says “Get over it, she lost”, it means “stop saying bad things about my new alpha male, you big poopy heads!” It’s similar to the way supporters of the torturer Bush reacted to criticism by arguing that such criticism in a time of war is seditious; they support him but they cannot defend him so they react by trying to silence the critics.

So Obama could be called a harbinger. Of Trump.
