Eh, he’s just whining and threatening because the RNC came down on him. Notice no claims otherwise, like when whatshisface called him. If they don’t let him do what he wants, he’ll take his toys elsewhere. They should just smile and wave as he does exactly that. ---

CNN recently reported that [Trump in 2004 said he identified mostly as a Democrat](http://us.cnn.com/2015/07/21/politics/donald-trump-election-democrat/index.html). Maybe he’s a mole trying to break up the Republican Party and throw the election in favor of the Democrats. ---

I don’t believe that. I think he’s running as a Republican because that’s where he could possibly win. He’s a weird one. He talks like a straight talker, but he’s also a bigtime flip flopper. ---

Imagine for a second if Donald Trump won the nomination…I’d like to say I don’t think it’ll happen, but I have this horrible feeling in the pit of stomach nevertheless… How would the debates go between him and Clinton, or better yet him and Bernie Sanders. I really wonder if Sanders’ head might explode at some point during. ---

Why bother? Any Democrat that debates him can just smile knowing that he’s not going to win. That being said, Trump’s approval has actually gone up a little, although he’s still in unelectable territory with 58% disapproval. ---

I seem to recall in the 2012 GOP debacle, early on Trump was briefly polling highest of the sorry lot. Then a rapid collapse into the joke that he is. Am I misremembering? ---

You remember mostly correctly. He was leading in [April 2011](http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/national_gop_primary_poll_trump_19_romney_17_huckabee_15), before the first debate. He withdrew in May, but was still tied for second with Huckabee and behind Romey in [August](http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/poll-donald-trump-catapults-place-2012-gop-field/story?id=13318814). He didn’t so much collapse as just never seriously campaigned. ---
