Los Lobos- “La Bamba” Young MC- “Bust A Move” Spandau Ballet- “True” **dantheman** – I have “Pac Man Fever”, “Froggy’s Lament”, “Ode To A Centipede”, “Do The Donkey Kong”, “Hyperspace”, “The Defender”, “Mousetrap”, and “Goin’ Berzerk”. If you hear of more, would you let me know? Something about these songs really amuses me, and if there’s more, I want to get them. 🙂 ---

**Three Little Pigs,** by Green Jelly, was truly horrifying. I think Mr. Mister had another depressing hit with **Broken Wings.** Harper Lee was a one-hit-wonder, with **To Kill a Mockingbird.** But that’s not a song, now, is it? ---

When I hear the words “one hit wonder” I immediately think of _Play that Funky Music, White Boy_ by Wild Cherry. Here’s a couple more that I don’t think were mentioned. _The Night Chicago Died_ - Paper Lace _I’m Too Sexy_ - Right Said Fred _In the Year 2525_ - Zager & Evans ---

**Mr. Mister** - _Broken Wings_ & _Kyrie_ were BOTH number-one on Billboard in America. In addition, _Is It Love_, from the same album, was a #8 hit in the U.S. **Wang Chung** - They hit the American Top 40 FIVE TIMES. 1984’s _Don’t Let Go_ and 1987’s _Hypnotize Me_ both petered out in the low-30’s. In between, Wang Chung managed to string together three top-20 hits in America: _Dance Hall Days_ (#16), _Everybody Have Fun Tonight_ (#2), and _Let’s Go!_ (#9). **Men Without Hats** - Hit #20 in America with _Pop Goes the World_ in early 1988, after going to #3 with _The Saftey Dance_ over 4 years earlier. **Adam Ant** - _Goody Two Shoes_ hit #12 in early 1983. His next American Top 40 appearance was seven years later, with 1990’s _Room At the Top_ (#17). _Strip_ never made the American Top 40, though it was a much-played radio & MTV song in it’s time (1986?). My WAG is that _Strip_ HAD to be a top-10 in the UK. **Big Country** - _In a Big Country_ was their only American Top 40 hit (#17), but IIRC, Big Country remained huge in England for some time, chalking up many UK hits. ---
