It’s good to know my own ideas about hair and glasses are in tune with most opinions here. I never figured women were that picky about hair. I myself have talked to many handsome men and never actually realized they were completely bald until later. (Talked in the business or casual acquaintance sense.) They look fine. And the only time anyone really ever makes a comment about someone’s hair is when they are wearing a really bad toupee or have a lame combover. I’d really love to grow my hair long, like a rock star, but know that with a receding hairline, I’m eventually going to have to crop it close. No problem. I’ve shaved myself bald a few times in the past and my skull is shaped just right for the Mills Lane look, so I’ll be okay. ---

On the subject of braces pain, **Mau** , I don’t know what anyone has told you, but for me, every time I got my braces tightened, it felt like I had people had attached pliers to every tooth in my mouth and then were hanging off them. Very not fun, very hard to eat for a day or two after every visit. Rubber bands were especially shitty, because you got to choose between (a) putting them on right away after the latest tightening, so it would hurt worse for less time, or (b) waiting until the tightening pain faded in a couple of days, which would then make the teeth tender all over again, so it would hurt less for longer. Prophylactic ibuprofen helps. Let’s not forget about waiting until a week before the appointment and then doubling them up. Braces are a very specific pain. A pain I’ll never, ever forget. Rubber bands are similar, but worse. One of the things I really hated about braces was forgetting that I had them tightened the day before and then tossing a handful of something hard (like M&M’s) in my mouth. :eek: ---

Regarding rule 34, I was going to try to dig something up, but it wasn’t as hard as I thought. Just do a google image search for ‘braces porn.’ I’m thinking it’s designed to overlap pretty heavily with barely legal stuff. ---

This questions very specifically relates to [Match.com](http://Match.com) The other day I sent out a few emails. As usual, the people that I sent the emails out to are showing up as ‘connections’. One of them, however, is not. I checked and the email I sent to her is still in my outbox, so I’m wondering if it’s just some sort of odd fluke that she’s not showing up there, or it if’s possible for the recipient to do something on their end to cause this to happen of if it’s possible the email just didn’t go through. I was thinking about resending it with a message apologizing for sending it twice but I didn’t look like I was just doing that to get her attention. OTOH, I’d hate to find out it didn’t get sent at all. ---

Then I added in a line about how my divorce was actively in the works and that I was just awaiting the court date and suddenly one of the people that I had contacted earlier wrote back and mentioned that the separation was the reason for not writing back to begin with. Now that I’m past all of that I, personally, wouldn’t (in all likelihood) go out with someone listed as ‘currently separated’. ---

Well, first time this has happened… Clicked on a match and hovered over the main photo, so the next two pictures came up, as usual. Honest-to-goodness had an involuntary inhalation of breath, followed by holding it until I realized what I was doing. And then God ruined it for me.
